Kindly note, Different universities have different JAMB cut off marks. For the University of Ilorin, you will need at least 180 to be accepted. 210 and above is considered a good score. However, some courses will put the score of 230 as their cut off mark. So you have a better chance if you get a high JAMB score! The O level result The O level result carries 50 marks. You need to remember that each grade has different marks. For example: A may carry 9 marks; B may carry 8 or 4 marks; C may carry 2 or 1 marks. As you can see, having too many C''s will be a significant disadvantage. On the other hand, with enough A's you will get higher marks and have more chances to be accepted. So the higher the better.
