2017/18 Unilorin admission cut off mark

University of Ilorin has always been a spot for JAMB applicants. It is the most selected University of 2017 and there is no doubt that getting admitted will be competitive. It is important to know the method of the admission and the cut off mark.

Best tips Every JAMB applicant that wants to apply to the University of Ilorin has to know the method of the admission to the University will be different. Two factors that will be taken into consideration in order to determine the candidates: The JAMB score Keep that in mind that the competition is quite high this year. In order to be admitted on merit, you should have a good score.

Kindly note, Different universities have different JAMB cut off marks. For the University of Ilorin, you will need at least 180 to be accepted. 210 and above is considered a good score. However, some courses will put the score of 230 as their cut off mark. So you have a better chance if you get a high JAMB score! The O level result The O level result carries 50 marks. You need to remember that each grade has different marks. For example: A may carry 9 marks; B may carry 8 or 4 marks; C may carry 2 or 1 marks. As you can see, having too many C''s will be a significant disadvantage. On the other hand, with enough A's you will get higher marks and have more chances to be accepted. So the higher the better. You need to be way above the cut off mark to be on the safe side. Unilorin courses and their cut off mark The cut off marks for the courses for 2017/2018 have not been released yet, but we can make assumptions based on the previous year. Usually, they don’t change much, so it will be useful to know in order to predict your results and know if you are safe.
